Daily Announcements for 10/31/2017

It’s time to order your class ring!  Orders will be taken today (10/31) during lunches, outside of the cafeteria.  A $50 deposit is required when placing your order. Design your custom ring or other customized class jewelry online at Jostens.com or pick up a jewelry packet in the main office.

There will be a meeting for all NHS, Venture Crew, Helping Hands, and Senior Class members immediately after school today in Mr. Hall's room.

There will be a Driver’s Ed class beginning tomorrow (11/1) thru Monday, Nov. 20 from 2:45-5:15 p.m.  Any student who will be 15 years and 9 months old on or before November 1 can sign up for the class in the main office.

Are you interested in forming a Debate Club?  Please join us right after school on Thursday, November 2nd in Mrs. McEvoy's room, C103.  If there is interest, this club will run.

The Social Justice Club will meet on Monday, November 6th after school in Mrs. McEvoy's Room, C103.  Students in all grades are welcome to join!

The following college reps will visit the high school this week.  Any junior or senior who wants to meet with the rep can sign up on Naviance or in the office with Ms. Mottarella: today Wentworth Institute of Technology at 9 a.m. and Northwestern Ct. Community College at 1:30 p.m.; and Fri. (11/3) SUNY Delhi at 9 a.m.

There is a box in the main lobby for the Kiwanis Stuff the Trailer Annual Food Drive for the Lee Food Pantry.  Please bring in non-perishable food items and diapers.

Any High School student that would like a Student Planner, please stop by the Principal’s office.

All 18-year-old male students must register for the Selective Service which you can do at www.sss.gov.

Daily Announcements for 10/11/2017

On October 24, Life Touch will be here for Senior Portraits. Six basic yearbook poses are free of charge, if you want more poses and/or outside shots extra time can be purchased. Please see Mrs. Armstrong or any yearbook staff to sign up for an appointment. 

Next Monday 10/16 will be picture make-up day.  Flyers are available in the office or online at www.geskusprint.com.

Helping Hands is sponsoring a Pink Day on Thursday (10/12)!  Wear pink to support Breast Cancer Awareness.  Ribbons will be distributed and bracelets will be available during both lunches for a small donation!

There will be a Venture Crew meeting after school on Monday (10/16) in Mr. Hall’s room (D120).

Any traveler who has not turned in their Yankee Candle Fundraiser money and forms needs to do so before 2:30 pm today (10/11). Everything is being sent out this afternoon.

Europe 2018 Yankee Candle Fundraiser money and forms are due to Señora next Tuesday, October 10th. See her with any questions.

Winning entries attend an awards ceremony and have their artwork displayed on Lowell Regional Transit Authority buses in the Spring. Please see Ms. Clark in the art room for additional information, guidelines and supplies.

Due to lack of signups the trip to BCC College Fair on Thursday morning has been cancelled.

There will be a MEFA College Financing Seminar - October 5th at 7pm.  Parents and students are invited to attend this free seminar on paying for college, which will be held in the LMHS Auditorium.

The following college reps will visit the high school this week.  Any junior or senior who wants to meet with the rep can sign up on Naviance or in the office with Ms. Mottarella: Thurs. (10/5) Simmons College at 12 p.m. and University of Maine at 1 p.m.

There will be a prom committee meeting at 2:30 today in Señora's room. Make sure to submit your venue vote before the meeting.

Any Seniors who would like to attend the BCC College Fair on Thursday morning, October 5th can sign up in the main office.  There will be a $5 bus fee.  Please take a permission slip to fill out when you sign up.
