year need to be turned in asap.
Attention, Costa Rica Travelers! There will be a brief
but very important pre- departure meeting tomorrow right after school at
2:30. Please report to Mrs. Hall's room.
The results are in for Mrs. Verdi’s scientific writing
competition. First place goes to Alex Hoctor for the paper “Virtual Reality is
Reshaping the Medical Field,” Second place goes to Claire Davis for the paper
“The Effects of Microplastics”. Third place was a tie between Maddy Kotek for
the paper “IVF: A Breakthrough in Reproductive Health” and Hunter Jones for the
paper “CGI Effects”. All winners will receive a cash prize. Congratulations to
the winners and all students who participated.
The Dodgeball Tournament is back on Friday, May 2 at 5:30 in
the gym! Sign up and create teams using the form sent to everyone’s
email. If playing is not your jam, be sure to save the date anyway so you
can cheer on your pals. Talk to Mr. Pfeifer or Maddy Kotek if you have
questions.
The High School Student Council will be putting on a pet
supply drive. The Berkshire Humane Society is always looking for donations
of food and other supplies to keep the animals happy and healthy and the
shelter running smoothly. Please see the Wish List for suggestions that is
posted in the main lobby. All donations
should be brought to the main office. You will then enter your name into
the raffle for a VISA gift card. (2 entries per person max). The Drive ends at the end of April.
