Daily Announcements for 10/21/2015

There will be a meeting for all Senior members of the National Honor Society tomorrow (10/22) in Mr. Hall's room right after school. It should last about 10 minutes.

There has been a change in the November Quiz Team Date.  The competition is on November 4th.  Please get your permission slips in.

Sophomores - It’s not too late to order your Class Rings! Additional orders will be taken on Tuesday (10/27) during all lunches in the cafeteria.  A $50 deposit is requested when placing your order.  Design your custom ring or class tag on-line at Jostens.com or pick up a jewelry packet in the main office.

There will be a Driver’s Ed class beginning Monday, November 2 through November 19 from 2:45-5:15 p.m.  Any student who will be 15 years and 9 months or older on November 2 can sign up in the main office.

The following college reps will visit the high school this week.  Any junior or senior who wants to meet with the rep can sign up on Naviance: Friday (10/23) Paul Smith’s College.

The Jeans for Teens program will start today.  You can donate clothes to the box in the lobby, for each article donated; you will receive a raffle ticket for a Dunkin Donuts gift card.  This will run until the end of October.

Ski Butternut will be here on Tuesday, October 27th during both lunches to recruit workers for this winter.  If you are interested please visit the Ski Butternut table.

High school students who would like to use one of the student planners can pick one up in the principal’s office.

Three new art contests are now posted outside the art room! Blick Art Materials Day of the Dead, Cool Science Climate Change and Doodle 4 Google: What Makes Me, Me! For additional information please see Mrs. Clark in the art room.  (Run thru 10/16)

REMINDER: Construct Walk for the Homeless is this Sunday, October 18.  Registration is at 12:30 starts at Ski Butternut to Great Barrington Fairgrounds.  Food, fun, music by Wanda Houston.  See Mrs. Brouker for more details.

If any students have flu vaccine permission forms to be turned in, please turn them in to Mrs. Carroll asap as vaccine will be given this morning. 

Yearbook staff will be available today during both lunches for anyone interested in personalization with four free icons. If you want the new low price make sure you bring in your deposit.
