Daily Announcements for 2/28/2020

Next week is National School Breakfast Week.  There will be a different breakfast special every day and a daily drawing for a $10 bill.  Monday’s special will be Cinnamon crumb cake.

Sign up during lunch for the Dodgeball tournament (Wed., March 4)! $2 per person, max of 10 people on a team.  Don't worry if you don't have a team, we'll find you one!  If you don't want to play, come watch!  $3 or 3 canned goods to watch!

This is the last week to purchase your 2020 Yearbook. See Mrs. Armstrong, any yearbook staff member, or go to Jostens.com.

There will be an Environmental Club meeting on Tuesday (3/3) during 2nd lunch in room A121 for all interested students.  

There will be a College Planning Night on Wednesday, March 11th, from 6-7pm in the LMHS Library. Juniors and sophomores looking to get a head start on the process are encouraged to attend. See Mr. Korte with any questions.

Spring sports sign-ups are in the main office.

Would you like a chance to perform on the "Big Stage" in the Z?  Lee Student Government is planning an April Talent Show.  All students interested in performing or working on the show should attend the INTEREST MEETING next Wednesday March 4 after school in Mr. Trabka's room.

This is the last week the Lee Lions Club will be collecting jeans for the Jeans for Teens clothing drive.  Next week they will be delivered directly to the homeless shelter in Albany where jeans are in high demand among kids just like you.  Please consider donating your old jeans to the box in the main hallway.  They will take anything in wearable condition.  Your gift will go a long way in making a difference in someone’s life.

There will be a driver’s ed class beginning next Monday (3/2) in room D117. Any students who will be 15 years and 9 months old on or before March 2nd can sign up for the class in the office.

All 18-year-old male students must register for the Selective Service which you can do at www.sss.gov.

Class of 2022 will be holding a Dodgeball Tournament on Wednesday March 4!  Sign Ups start after break, get your team together!

For the month of February, the Lee Lions Club will be hosting the annual Jeans for Teens clothing drive.  Any new or gently worn jeans can be donated to the box in the main hallway.  Your donation will go to benefit the area’s homeless.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the Winter Clothing Drive. There is a variety of clothing, including warm winter coats, gloves, scarves, and other items ready to be taken home and used. If you or anyone else you know is in need of winter clothing, please see Mrs. Wade.

The Senior Class will be selling raffle tickets during both lunches today (2/13) for a spa gift basket, goodies gift basket and a movie themed gift basket.  Tickets are $1 each of 6 for $5.  

For the month of February, the Lee Lions Club will be hosting the annual Jeans for Teens clothing drive.  Any new or gently worn jeans can be donated to the box in the main hallway.  Your donation will go to benefit the area’s homeless.
