Lee Library will hold a
Grand Opening for their new Teen Room today at 4 p.m. All are welcome. There will be refreshments
and prizes. On Monday the teen advisory
board will meet at 6 p.m. Open to grades 6-12 – there will be pizza. There will
be a Book vs. Movie discussion on Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist by Rachel Cohn
on Wednesday, April 29th at 4:30 p.m. Interested teens can pick up a copy of the
book at the circulation desk. The movie
screening will be Saturday, May 2nd at 11 a.m.
There
will be a Driver’s Ed class beginning Monday, May 4 through Tuesday, May 19th from 2:45-5:15 p.m. Any student
who will be 15 years and 9 months old by Monday, May 4 can sign up for the
class in the main office.

Beach has some lifeguard employment positions open and if interested to

Students in grades 8-11
who missed the scheduling assemblies last Thursday and Friday should see their
guidance counselor ASAP to pick up the course selection sheet and program of
studies. Remember, everyone should be getting their signatures this week!
The
2015 Student Trooper Program, an intensive one week, residential learning
experience in July for young adults, ages 15 thru 17. If you are interested in the program please
see Mr. Korte for an application.
