It’s time to order your class
ring! Orders will be taken on Tuesday,
October 31st during lunches, outside of the cafeteria. A $50 deposit is required when placing your
order. Design your custom ring or other customized class jewelry online at
Jostens.com or pick up a jewelry packet in the main office.
There will be a Driver’s Ed class
beginning Wednesday (11/1) thru Monday, Nov. 20 from 2:45-5:15 p.m. Any student who will be 15 years and 9 months
old on or before November 1 can sign up for the class in the main office.
Band members: all wreath orders are due to Ms. Nelson today (10/27).
Any juniors or seniors interested in taking a tour of
Springfield Technical Community College on Tuesday,
November 14th, should see Mr. Korte to sign up and get more information.
Are you interested in
forming a Debate Club? Please join us right after school on Thursday,
November 2nd in Mrs. McEvoy's room, C103. If there is interest, this
club will run.
The Social Justice Club will
meet on Monday, November 6th after school in Mrs. McEvoy's Room,
C103. Students in all grades are welcome to join!
The following college reps will visit the high school next
week. Any junior or senior who wants to
meet with the rep can sign up on Naviance or in the office with Ms. Mottarella:
Mon. (10/30) AIC at 9 a.m. and Johnson & Wales University at 1 p.m.; Tues.
Wentworth Institute of Technology at 9 a.m. and Northwestern Ct. Community
College at 1:30 p.m.; and Fri. (11/3) SUNY Delhi at 9 a.m.
Yearbook staff will be outside the cafe to take deposits for
yearbooks today. We will hold your book at the low
price as well as enter you into a drawing for a Dunkin Donut gift card.
There will be a Blood Drive on Monday,
October 30th. Anyone 16 years
old or older who would like to donate, sign-ups will be during second lunch.
There will be a Halloween Dance tomorrow
(10/28) from 7-10 p.m. for high school students. The cost is $7.00. Bring a canned good with you and get $1 off.
There is a box in the main lobby for the
Kiwanis Stuff the Trailer Annual Food Drive for the Lee Food Pantry. Please bring in non-perishable food items and
diapers.
Any High School student that would
like a Student Planner, please stop by the Principal’s office.
All 18-year-old male
students must register for the Selective Service which you can do at
www.sss.gov.
