General Dynamics is sponsoring a STEM engineering competition for all high schools in the county. The goal will be to build a launching device and will include both mechanical and coding work. Students in grades 9-12 who are interested in forming a team for Lee should attend a meeting in Mrs. Verdi's room at first lunch  today (12/10).

Congratulations to Ryleigh Fillio and Noah Hassmer who were accepted to the MMEA junior district chorus, Devyn Fillio who will play saxophone in the junior district band, and Olivia Willey who will play 1st trumpet in the district jazz band.

Just a reminder that Football has entered the state tournaments!  The game is Friday night at 7:00 on the LMHS field vs. Bartlett H.S.  Tickets are required as these are MIAA games.  They must be purchased in advance, online only at gofans.co.  MIAA rules and prices apply.  Tickets are $11.50 for adults and $6.25 for students/seniors.  Good luck Wildcats!

Unified Sports was developed by Special Olympics as a way to provide a high-quality athletic experiences in an inclusive environment.  Teams consist of students with and without intellectual disabilities.  This team will represent our school community as a varsity team.  There is a commitment of 2-3 days per week for practices and games.  Anyone who has questions please see Coach Thomson.

All students are reminded that you need to turn in your school-issues Chromebook and charger before leaving for the summer!  They get turned into the library.  If they are not turned in, you will be billed $275 for a Chromebook and $25 for a charger.

There will be a middle school semi-formal dance this Friday, June 7th.  It will be held from 7-9:30 p.m. in the cafeteria.  The entry fee is $3.  Food and drinks will be available.  St. Mary's grades 7 & 8 are also invited.

A cell phone was found in the library yesterday and can be claimed in the office.

Tomorrow (6/7) is National Gun Violence Awareness Day.  On Friday, please join the Social Justice Club in wearing orange--the color hunters wear to protect themselves from being shot during hunting season-- to protest school shootings.

The class of 2026 will be holding a Car Wash at Lee Bank this Saturday, June 8^th from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. rain or shine.  Pay what you can – donations are encouraged.
