Daily Announcements for 11/30/2015

Attention Junior Class:  Your butterbraid orders are due to Mr. Hall or Mrs. Curry by tomorrow (12/1)

Middle School Jazz Band will meet after school on Wednesday (12/2) this week. 

Junior district audition final information is available- please see Ms. Nelson. Extra help will be available after school today, Tuesday, and Friday for anyone auditioning.

Any student wishing to submit a design for the Doodle 4 Google Annual Contest please have all artwork and release forms to Mrs. Clark in the art room by this Friday the 4th to make the deadline.


There will be a Mock Trial meeting on Thursday after school in Mr. Hall's room.  Please see Mr. Hall or Mrs. Wade with any questions.

There will be a Driver’s Ed class beginning today, November 30 through December 15 from 2:45-5:15 p.m.  Any student who will be 15 years and 9 months or older on November 30 can sign up in the main office.

An experienced MEFA representative will provide an overview of the financial aid process, including types of financial aid, how to apply, and determining financing options for your family.  This is an important piece of the college admissions process, and we hope to see you there!

Thank you for the support at the Holiday Sweater Fun Run 5K last Sunday.  The Lee Law Enforcement raised $12,000 for the Special Olympics Massachusetts.  Thank you to the students and teachers from LMHS and LES who walked or ran the race.  Congratulations to Mr. Sorrentino who won 3rd place in his category.

It’s Shakespeare time again.  Come to the Zukowski Performing Arts Center tonight (11/13) and tomorrow(11/14) night at 7 p.m. for Lee Middle and High School’s production of” The Winter’s Tale.”
Tickets will be sold during both lunches all week.

Join us to support Lee High Prom Committee by dining at Arizona Pizza (395 Pittsfield Road, Lenox) tomorrow (11/14) for lunch, dinner & take-out.  Arizona Pizza will donate 20% of your bill when you let your server know that you are dining to donate to support lee High Prom Committee.

Tryouts are being held early to allow any player not chosen, or for those who would rather play on the high school’s JV team.  Please arrive at St. Mary’s no later than 5:45.  Grades 7 & 8 boys travel tryouts tonight from 7-8:30 p.m. at Crossways.

The Kiwanis Club of Lee is holding their Annual “Stuff the Trailer.”  There will be a box in the main lobby area for food items and diapers until Friday, November 6th.  Please bring in these much needed items for families in need.

Daily Announcements for 11/2/2015

Today (11/2) all PE classes will report to the “Z” instead of the gym.  Attendance will be taken.

Remember a picture ID if you have signed up to give blood on Monday!!

There will be a prom committee meeting today (11/2) at 2:30.  If you cannot stay after please see Mrs.Curry before school on Monday.  

There will be a High School Halloween Dance tonight (11/2) from 7-10.  The dance is for Lee High School students only.  The cost is $5.00.

Driver’s Ed classes will begin today at 2:45 p.m. in room D121.

Quiz Team match on November 4.  Bus will leave Lee at 6:15.  Please see Mrs. Wade if you are planning on going!
