Daily Announcements for 3/13/2020


For St. Patrick's Day (Tuesday, March 17th) - Dress up with all the green, pots of gold, rainbows, and shamrocks OR dress in your favorite college basketball team gear. The homeroom that is dressed up the most will earn a prize at the start of the House Activity on Tuesday! May the best team win!

There will be a mandatory meeting for all Senior NHS members on Monday, March 16th immediately after school.

There will be a mandatory meeting for all Junior NHS members on Tuesday, March 17th immediately after school.

Spring sports sign-ups are in the main office.

All 18-year-old male students must register for the Selective Service which you can do at www.sss.gov.

Middle school band lessons are group Z period A, group X period C, and group Y period D

There is a Quiz Team match for today (3/11) has been cancelled.

There will be a meeting for grades 7-10 house reps in Mrs. Verdi's room during both lunches today. Senior reps who signed up for the April 16th event should also attend the second lunch meeting.

Daily Announcements for 3/4/2020


This week is National School Breakfast Week.  There will be a different breakfast special every day and a daily drawing for a $10 bill.  Thursday’s special will be egg & cheese burritos.

Middle school band lessons are group X period B, group Y period C, and group Z period D.

Attention Costa Rica travelers: On Thursday, March 12th, there will be a mandatory meeting for anyone that participated in the plant fundraiser at 2:30 pm in Sra. Antil's classroom. All orders and money will be due at that time.

Any student who was not in Friday’s Scheduling Assemblies should see their guidance counselor for their course selection forms as soon as possible.

There will be a meeting for all boys interested in playing baseball today (3/4) at 2:45 in the gym.

There will be a College Planning Night on Wednesday, March 11th, from 6-7pm in the LMHS Library. Juniors and sophomores looking to get a head start on the process are encouraged to attend. See Mr. Korte with any questions.

There will be an Environmental Club meeting today (3/3) during 2nd lunch in room A121 for all interested students.  

There will be a meeting for all boys interested in playing baseball Wed. (3/4) at 2:45 in the gym.

Middle school jazz band will meet after school today.  Middle school band lessons are group X period B, group Y period C, and group Z period D.

Any student who was not in Friday’s Scheduling Assemblies should see their guidance counselor for their course selection forms as soon as possible.

Sign up during lunch for the Dodgeball tournament Wed., March 4! $2 per person, max of 10 people on a team.  Don't worry if you don't have a team, we'll find you one!  If you don't want to play, come watch!  $3 or 3 canned goods to watch!
