Daily Announcements for 3/29/2018


There will be a brief 5 minute meeting for freshmen, sophomore, and junior student council representatives after school today.  Please speak to Mr. Trabka if you have a conflict. 

Last call for any senior who wants to put his or her name into the lottery for the April Lola Jaffe trip to NYC; see Mrs. Verdi today. If you put your name in last semester, please do it again.

There will be a middle school semi-formal dance for all 6-8 grade students on March 31st from 7-10. It will be held in the St Marys gym, snacks are provided and the cost is $10. 

Art Department Open Studio: Ms. Clark will be hosting after school art projects in the art room! The first project will take place today (3/29) – Fluid Marble Paintings – if you are interested please sign up in the art room as there is limited space – 15 students per session. There will be an additional session on Tuesday, April 3rd. This is free with all materials provided. See Ms. Clark with any questions.

A reminder to all seniors: many of the local scholarships are due by March 31st.  You should be paying close attention to scholarship deadlines now.

On Sunday, April 8th Monument Mountain Regional High School will hold their 35th Annual College Fair from 6:30-8:30 p.m.  All students and parents are invited to attend.  Admission is free.  Over 120 Colleges and Universities will be represented.

Daily Announcements for 3/23/2018


MCAS grade 10 ELA room assignments are posted in the office window.

The Sophomore class is holding a dining to donate at Flavours Restaurant in Pittsfield Saturday 3/24.  Please stop by for dinner and support the sophomores.

Art Department Open Studio: Ms. Clark will be hosting after school art projects in the art room! The first project will take place on Thursday, March 29th – Fluid Marble Paintings – if you are interested please sign up in the art room as there is limited space – 15 students per session. There will be an additional session on Tuesday, April 3rd. This is free with all materials provided. See Ms. Clark with any questions.

High school students, auditions for a murder mystery play are coming up. The Watersdown Affair, written and directed by senior, Hunter Cannon, is holding auditions today (3/22) from 3-5 and a tech interest meeting from 5-6 for anyone interested. Descriptions of the show can be found in each hallway.

Daily Announcements for 3/5/2018

This is National School Breakfast week.  Tomorrow’s breakfast will be French toast on a stick.

RAD (Rape, Aggression Defense for Women) classes will be starting tonight for any girl interested in developing and enhancing the options of self-defense.  The program consists of both classroom and hands-on instruction and is sponsored by the Lee Police Dept.  More information and a sign-up sheet is on the counter in the main office.

The Lee Lions Club would like to thank everyone who donated to our Jeans for Teens drive. All donations will be delivered to a local homeless shelter to help those in need. Your donations help make a difference in someone's life.
