Daily Announcements for 9/30/2019


Middle School Band lessons this week are group Y period A, group Z period B, group X period D.

There will be a Quiz Team Practice after school tomorrow (10/1) in Mrs. Wade's Room (C112).

There will be an Academic Decathlon Meeting after school on Wednesday (10/2) in Mrs. Wade's Room (C112). 

On October 16th, all juniors can sign up to take the PSAT at school for free, and sophomores can take the PSAT for $20. The PSAT is a practice version of the SAT. It's strongly recommended that students planning to apply to 4-year colleges and universities sign up to take the PSAT. Sign-ups are in the main office, and the deadline is October 4th.   

Signups for Academic Decathlon, Quiz Team, and Mock Trial are in the front office. Any student interested should sign up. Any questions, please see Mrs. Wade or Mr. Hall.

On Wednesday, October 2nd, Berkshire Community College will be hosting a college fair. If enough students are interested in attending, we will take a bus that will leave LMHS at 8:55am and return to school around 10:45 a.m.  All juniors and seniors who are in good academic standing and applying to college are welcome to sign up.  Seniors will have priority if space on the bus becomes an issue.  There is a $5 bus fee and all permission slips and money MUST be turned in to the main office by Friday, September 27th.  No late sign-ups will be accepted.

Daily Announcements for 9/10/2019


Sign ups for Academic Decathlon, Quiz Team, and Mock Trial are in the front office. Any student interested should sign up. Any questions, please see Mrs. Wade or Mr. Hall.

Middle School Band lessons this week are Group X period A, Group Y period B, and Group Z period C.
There will be a meeting for all students interested in an Environmental Club after school on Thursday 9/12 from 2:30 to 3:00 in room A121.
The following college reps will be at the school this week, any junior or senior who would like to meet with the reps can sign up on Naviance:  today (9/10) Fitchburg State University (9 a.m.) and New England Institute of Technology (1 p.m.); and Fri. (9/13) Elms College (10 a.m.)

There will be a Driver’s Ed class beginning Monday, Sept 23 thru Monday, Oct. 7 from 3:00-5:30 Monday-Friday.  You must be 15 years and 9 months old on or by today to sign up for the class. To register, pick up a form in the main office.

School picture day is today, September 4.  Remember all students and staff must have your picture taken for your ID’s.   If you are buying a packet, you must have your picture form and payment with you when you go to the camera.
