Daily Announcements for 5/31/2016

Anyone interested in playing a fall sport should meet with their coach after school:
Girls Soccer today (5/31) in the cafeteria
Cross Country Running Wednesday, June 1st in Mrs. Briggs Room (B121)
Football Wednesday, June 1st in the gym
Golf Wednesday, June 1st in the library
Volleyball Wednesday, June 1st in the cafeteria

Biology MCAS testing will be held Wednesday (6/1) and Thursday (6/2) – the list with student testing room assignments is posted in the window of the main office.

Any member of National Honor Society who has not yet handed in their points cards, please make sure to do so. No points will be accepted after June 1st.  If you need points, stop by and see Mr. Hall. He has some different opportunities.

There will be summer Driver’s Ed courses offered at St. Mary’s School June 27-July 11 and July 25-August 5.  Any student who will be 15 years 9 months old by the 1st day of the session can sign up in the main office or call 413-442-0502.

Many new summer job opportunities have recently been posted on the college and career center job postings board. If you're looking to make some extra money this summer, come check it out!

There will also be a snack bar to buy some delicious treats!

To all 8th grade students who had art this year.  Mr. Boule would like to include some of your art works

in the underclassman art show being held at the Lee Library on May 10th. Please bring in any artwork you

would like to have in the show to the art room by today!


All students, faculty and staff are invited to participate in the First Annual Greener Gateway Cleanup

tomorrow (5/7) from 9:00 - 12:00 volunteers meet at the gazebo by the Lee Post Office. Demonstrate your

school pride by wearing Orange + Black or any sports uniform. See Mrs. Clark in the art room with any

questions.

Anyone who purchased prom tickets please stop by the prom table at lunch to fill out a seating chart for your table.  8 people will be assigned per table.  Come prepared with all 8 names to fill your table.  If you do not sign up by Friday the prom committee will assign them for you.  Don't forget to register any guests that don't go to our school with Mr. Reilly.  If you have any questions please see Mr. Hall or Mrs. Curry.

The Freshman Class is holding a Trivia Night for all LMHS students and faculty on May 11th.  Join us for an awesome night of trivia with fun people and snacks.  The cost is $5 per person.  Please give your money to Senorita Barbaglia or Ms. Zurawka by this Friday (5/6).  You can sign up even if you don’t have a team.  Come join us for a night of fun!

Not too late to sign up for Driver’s Ed class running through Tuesday, May 17th from 2:45 to 5:15 p.m. in room D121.  Any student who will be 15 years 9 months old by May 2nd can sign up for the class in the main office.

Please join us for the Underclassmen Art Show Reception at The Lee Library Tuesday May 10th from 5:00 - 7:00 pm. This is a free event with light refreshments.
Attention seniors - if you have pictures that you'd like in the Class Night slideshow, get them to Katie Zatorski by May 25th!

The Bidwell House Museum offers high school students with an interest in history, particularly local Berkshire colonial history, the opportunity to become a Youth History Scholar Intern during the summer.  See Mr. Korte for more information.

Daily Announcements for 5/3/2016

Anyone who has not purchased their prom tickets please see Mrs. Curry or Mr. Hall ASAP.  Wednesday is the last possible day.

Anyone who purchased prom tickets please stop by the prom table at lunch to fill out a seating chart for your table.  8 people will be assigned per table.  Come prepared with all 8 names to fill your table.  If you do not sign up by Friday the prom committee will assign them for you.  Don't forget to register any guests that don't go to our school with Mr.Reilly.  If you have any questions please see Mr. Hall or Mrs. Curry.

The Spring Concert is on Thursday (5/5) at 7 PM. Band members, please meet at 6:30, chorus members at 6:45.

There will be a middle school chorus rehearsal after school on Wednesday (5/4) for all members.
