Daily Announcements for 11/25/2014

Monday, December 1st is picture retake day.  Any student who missed picture day or needs to have their packets redone can pick up a form in the main office.

Anyone participating in a winter sport that needs to take the baseline concussion test please see Mrs. Consolati today (Tuesday).

There will be a Helping Hands meeting on Wed. Dec 3 after school in Mrs. Wade's room.

Tickets are on sale during lunches this week. Pre-sale tickets are $4.00 for students and seniors and $9.00 for adults. Prices at the door will be $5.00 for students and seniors and $10.00 for adults.

Student planners are now available free on a first come, first serve basis for high school students.  Please stop by Mr. Brighenti's office if you are interested getting one.

Grades 9-12 students who are interested in helping with Community Suppers please see Mrs. Carroll or sign up in the main office.

Any male student who is 18 is required by law to register for selective service within 30 days of turning 18 and you must register to be eligible for financial aid.

Sophomores: It’s not too late to order your Class Ring and receive it with the rest of your class!  Additional orders will be taken today (11/5) during both high school lunches in the cafeteria.  A $50 deposit is requested when placing your order.  Design your custom ring online at Jostens.com or pick up a ring packet in the main office.

Daily Announcements for 11/3/14

A quick reminder that there is no school for students tomorrow.

The girls’ volleyball team will play Ware at LMHS tonight at 6:30.  There will be a $3 admission charge to this game.  Any LMHS student that wears all black for the volleyball game gets in for free.  The boys’ soccer game will be tomorrow at LMHS at 2:00 on the varsity soccer field.  Come on out and support our teams!

The 20th annual Prudential Spirit of Community awards are open to all students in grades 5-12 who have engaged in a volunteer activity that occurred at least in part after September 1, 2013.  The application is available online at http://spirit.prudential.com or www.nassp.org/spirit/.  Applications must be completed by November 4, 2014 and then submitted to the Mr. Korte.  Local honorees  can go on to state-level judging who are then eligible to receive $1000 award and an all-expense paid trip to Washington DC for recognition events.
