Daily Announcements for 9/9/2015

Are you interested in traveling to the Caribbean during Spring Break? If so, see Señorita Barbaglia for more details! There are only a few spots left! 

There will be a Helping Hands meeting after school in Mrs. Wade's room on Wed, Sept. 15.  If you have a conflict, but still want to participate, please see Mrs. Wade.

A representative from Albertus Magnus College will be in the guidance office today at 9:00.  Any student interested in meeting with the rep can sign up on Naviance to meet with her.

All fall athletes need to have their user fees or their user fee sheet in to Mr. Reilly before this Friday September 11th.

Prom committee sign-up sheet is posted outside Mrs. Curry's room for any junior wishing to sign up.

2016 Yearbook has new pricing and is on sale this week during lunch. The new low price of $50 is good for a limited time so get your deposit in this week!  A $10 dollar deposit will enter your name into the drawing for a $20 dollar gift card from Dunkin Donuts.

Upcoming art contests and gallery submissions are now posted outside the art room and will be update throughout the school year – all students are invited to participate! If you are interested or want more information please see Mrs. Clark in the art room. 

Mr. Hall is looking for some National Honor Society students who are interested in doing some community service during Founder's Day. Anyone interested please see Mr. Hall this week.

Signups for Decathlon, Quiz Team, and Mock Trial are posted in the office.

Do you have a special talent you’ve been working on and are ready to show an audience?  Live comedy/variety show with performances at the Spectrum in Lee in late September (9/25 & 9/26) seeks young variety performers, including plate spinners, stand-up comics, jugglers, magicians, unusual singing acts, musicians (small bands, jazz combos, etc), and other.  Contact Liv Cummins: livcummins@gmail.com or call 413/243-4306.

There will be a Driver’s Ed class beginning Monday, Sept. 14 Tues., Sept. 29 from 2:45-5:15 Monday-Friday.  You must be 15 years and 9 months old on or by September 14 to sign up for the class. You can sign up for the class in the main office.

High school students who would like to use one of the student planners can pick one up in the principal’s office.
