Daily Announcements for 4/1/2016


ATHLETICS:  The softball scrimmage scheduled for today at Berkshire School has been postponed.  Weather permitting varsity softball will be practice at 3:15 on Hartwood.  JV is welcome to join them, but it is not required.  The tennis jamboree scheduled for tomorrow has been postponed.  Boys' and girls' tennis are outside at 2:45 p.m.  Baseball is at 2:50 p.m. on the field.
 
Today is the last day to sign up for the Color Run - see Mrs. Verdi with your registration form or to get a new one.

There will be a Brief meeting for Talent Show Performers on Monday after school I nMr. Trabka’s room.

Tickets are on sale for the LMHS Talent Show Thursday, April 7th at 7 pm in the Z.   Adults and students pay $7. Tickets are available from any student council member or any performer.

The 33rd Annual College Fair at Monument Mountain Regional High School will be held this Monday, April 4th, 6:30-8:30. It is FREE and open to the public. This is a great opportunity for younger students to start the college search process. See Mr. Korte for more details.

Don't miss your chance to sign up for the Color Run on April 30 -  2 1/2 miles of color splash fun, tee shirts, refreshments, and medals in every age category;  registration closes Friday. Get your new forms from English teachers or sophomore class officers; all applicants must have a parent sign the consent form.

Prom tickets will go on sale on Wednesday, April 6th.  The cost is $50 per person.  You may purchase your tickets during period 6 lunch on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays until April 27th.  Checks should be made payable to Lee Middle and High School.  Any questions please see Mrs. Curry or Mr. Hall.

Anyone wanted to participate in the next after school ceramics project on Wednesday, April 6th please sign up with Mrs. Clark in the art room!

OPEN CALL FOR CREATIVE WORKS! The Student Publication of visual art and writing is collecting submissions for the Spring 2016 edition.  All students are encouraged to participate - see Mrs. Clark in the art room to drop off work and for additional information.

Are you interested in attending a U.S. Service Academy? Congressman Richard Neal will host 2016 Academy Day on Saturday, April 23rd.  Deadline to register is April 1st.  See Mr. Korte for more details.
