Daily Announcements for 12/21/2016

Spirit Week: today: pajama day!!; tomorrow:  Festive Sweaters/Wear (Ugly Sweaters, or other festive gear).

Any female students that are interested in entering an essay question on the expanding opportunities for girls and women in sports please see Mr. Reilly.  There are cash prizes, as well as the opportunity to have your essays published for distribution.

Any students that made the honor roll list can get in to tonight’s (12/21) game for free. 

Lost and found items are in the hall, if you are missing something please check it out.  All remaining items will be donated over the vacation.

There will be a Driver’s Ed courses offered from January 9-26 from 3:45-5:15.  Any student who will be 15 years 9 months old by the 1st day of the session can sign up in the main office or call 413-442-0502.

All art work is due before break to the art room to be juried for the submissions for the 31st Annual Berkshire County High School Art Show at The Norman Rockwell Museum. All students are invited to participate - please see Ms. Clark or Ms. Armstrong with any questions.

There will be a basket raffle at both lunches thru tomorrow (12/21) to raise money for Huntington’s Disease research.  See Sina Zabian for details.

All students planning to travel to Europe during April break 2018, please turn in your faculty recommendations, application, and deposit to Sra. Antil before break. 

The Social Justice Club will meet tomorrow (12/21) after school on Mrs. McEvoy's room.  Please bring your presentation work.

All students and faculty, please wear a festive sweater on Thursday (12/22) for the Social Justice Club's Celebration of Religious Diversity!

Mrs. Connors’ room is asking for donations of cat or dog food, towels, blankets, pet toys, any items that can be used for animals please bring them to the main office.

This week there will be a box in the front hall collecting all donations for the Soldier On facility.  A wish list is posted around the school.  Any questions see Madison DeSantis.

All 18-year-old male students must register for the Selective Service which you can do at www.sss.gov.
