Daily Announcements for 10/3/2014

The GSA is sponsoring a High School dance on Friday October 10th from 7-10 pm in the caf.  $3 if you wear rainbow colors, otherwise $5.  Stop and see Ms. Ely as soon as possible if you would like to bring a student from another school.

There will be a meeting for anyone interested in joining Decathlon on Tuesday (10/7) after school in Mrs. Wade’s room.  Anyone who signed up to be part of Academic Decathlon should stop by Mr. Hall's Room to pick up information.

Underclassmen, the first $25 payment for your yearbook is due. Make your first payment by Wednesday, October 8th and you will be entered in the first raffle for a Dunkin Donuts gift card.  To win, your payment needs to be to Mrs. Armstrong by Wednesday. The first winner will be picked Wednesday, afternoon.

Attention all NHS candidates. The interview sign up sheet is posted on Mr. Hall's door. Please sign up as soon as possible.

Any boys’ lacrosse players that did not get their letters and/or pins last spring for playing on the varsity team should see Mr. Reilly.

The following college reps will be at LMHS this week, you can sign up on Naviance to meet with them: Saint Anselm’s College.  Scholarships are now being posted on Naviance.

The 26th Construct Walk for the Homeless will be Sunday, October 19th, 2014. Registration 12:30 p.m., the walk is at 1 p.m. at Butternut in Great Barrington. For more information please see Mrs. Brouker

Student planners are now available free on a first come, first serve basis for high school students.  Please stop by Mr. Brighenti's office if you are interested getting one.

Grades 9-12 students who are interested in helping with Community Suppers please see Mrs. Carroll or sign up in the main office.

Anyone who purchased a yearbook last year and has not received a copy of the spring insert can stop by Mrs. Armstrong Room to pick up a copy.

The LYA Homework Help program will be in room A110 (Mrs. Haven’s room) Mon.-Thurs. at 2:30 p.m.

Attention all 18 year olds: Voter registration cards will no longer be available in the guidance office. You must register in person at your town clerk's office.

Any male student who is 18 is required by law to register for selective service within 30 days of turning 18 and you must register to be eligible for financial aid.
