Daily Announcements for 11/3/2016

Tickets will go on sale this Friday through next Thursday during lunches for A Midsummer Night's Dream, which will be performed in the Z on Friday October 11th and Saturday October 12th at 7 p.m. .Pre-sale prices are Students /Seniors $4 and Adults $9. The cost of these tickets at the door are Students/Seniors- $5 and Adults $10. 

Participants and alternates for the Lola Jaffee trip on November 16 MUST have permission slips to Mrs. Verdi by Monday or your place will be by another student

Any National Honor Society students that need some volunteer hours, please see Mr. Reilly.  We need some volunteers/workers for Friday's football game.

There will be NO prom committee meeting this week, the next meeting is Thursday November 11 after school. 

Any Lee Students that bring a non-perishable food item to the concession stand at this Friday's football game will get a free piece of pizza.

There will be a mandatory meeting for all new members of the National Honor Society today (11/3) after school in Mr. Hall's room.

The Halloween Dance scheduled for this Friday (11/4) has been cancelled.

Students, you can do yourself a favor and volunteer in your own community and help those a bit less fortunate than you. Help out this Saturday morning between 10 a.m. and noon. Speak with Profe to volunteer!

There will be a meeting for anyone interested in participating in Lee Live, the school TV show, today (11/3) after school in Mr. Fillio's room (C126).

The Berkshire Organization of Language Teachers is hosting a logo design contest for any student grades 7-12 who is currently enrolled in a French or Spanish course. The reward for the winning design is $100. All interested students, see Señora Antil for more details. The deadline for submissions is November 30th

The Tastefully Simple fund raiser, for the benefit of the LMHS Functional Life Skills program, will be held throughout the remainder of October and first week of November.  All orders will be placed on November 4th, assuring delivery in time for the Thanksgiving holiday. The catalogs and order forms will be in the teachers’ room.  All profits are donated directly to the Life Skills Program. Thanks so much for your continued support, it is so appreciated!  

The following college reps will visit the high school next week.  Any junior or senior who wants to meet with the rep can sign up on Naviance or in the office with Ms. Mottarella: today (11/3) Castleton University at 9 a.m.
Middle school students can participate in the Lions International Peace Poster.  Students must by ages 11-13 by November 15.  Posters would be due by November 14th.  See Mr. Boule for more information.

All 18-year-old male students must register for the Selective Service which you can do at www.sss.gov.
