Anyone interested in joining the Helping Hands,
there will be a meeting in Mrs. Wade's NEW ROOM (C112) after school today
(9/24). We would love some new members!!!
Auditions for the Shakespeare Fall Festival will be held tomorrow (9/25) and Thursday (9/26) from 3-5 and 6-8 in the Z. Please attend one or more sessions if you are interested.
On Wednesday,
October 2nd, Berkshire Community College will be hosting a college fair. If
enough students are interested in attending, we will take a bus that will leave
LMHS at 8:55am and return to school around 10:45 a.m. All
juniors and seniors who are in good academic standing and applying to college
are welcome to sign up. Seniors will
have first priority if space on the bus becomes an issue. There is a $5
bus fee and all permission slips(attached) and money MUST be turned in to the
main office by Friday, September 27th. No late sign ups will be
accepted.
On October 16th,
all juniors can sign up to take the PSAT at school for free.
The PSAT is a practice version of the SAT. It's strongly recommended
that all juniors planning to apply to 4-year colleges and universities
sign up to take the test. You can sign up in the main office. The deadline to
sign up is October 4th.
Signups for Academic Decathlon, Quiz
Team, and Mock Trial are in the front office. Any student interested should
sign up. Any questions, please see Mrs. Wade or Mr. Hall.
The following college reps will be
at the school this week, any junior or senior who would like to meet with the
reps can sign up on Naviance: Wed.
(9/25) UMass Amherst (9 a.m.) and Bentley University (1 p.m.); Thurs. (9/26)
Boston University (10 a.m.) and Roger Williams University (1 p.m.)

have been reset for the new year. Pick up your temporary password in the
main office!
All
18-year-old male students must register for the Selective Service which you can
do at www.sss.gov.
