Daily Announcements for 10/31/2016

Josten’s will be here for high school lunch today (10/31) to take class ring orders.  A $50 deposit is required.

The Cross-Country team will be doing their pumpkin carving this afternoon at 3:15, please see Coach Reilly if you have any questions.

Students participating in the Blood Drive today (10/31), make sure you have your ID with you if you plan on giving blood!

There will be a Halloween Dance for Lee High School 9-12 graders on Friday, Nov. 4 from 7-10 p.m. The Cost will be $7.

There will be a meeting for anyone interested in being on the bowling team Wednesday (11/2) after school in Mr. Fillio's room C126.

There will be a meeting for anyone interested in participating in Lee Live the school TV show (11/3) after school in Mr. Fillio's room C126.

There will be a Driver’s Ed course from tomorrow (11/1) thru Friday, November 18.  Any student who will be 15 years 9 months old by November 1st can sign up in the main office or call 413-442-0502.

The Tastefully Simple fund raiser, for the benefit of the LMHS Functional Life Skills program, will be held throughout the remainder of October and first week of November.  All orders will be placed on November 4th, assuring delivery in time for the Thanksgiving holiday. The catalogs and order forms will be in the teachers’ room.  All profits are donated directly to the Life Skills Program. Thanks so much for your continued support, it is so appreciated! 

The following college reps will visit the high school next week.  Any junior or senior who wants to meet with the rep can sign up on Naviance or in the office with Ms. Mottarella: today (10/31) Seton Hall University at 11:00 a.m.; Tuesday (11/1) Westfield State College at 9 a.m., Emmanuel College at 10 a.m. and AIC at 12:30 p.m.; Wednesday (11/2) University of Maine at 11 a.m.; Thursday (11/3) Castleton University at 9 a.m.

Any junior who would like to be an alternate for the November Lola Jaffee trip, see Mrs, Verdi ASAP.

Middle school students can participate in the Lions International Peace Poster.  Students must by ages 11-13 by November 15.  Posters would be due by November 14th.  See Mr. Boule for more information.

All 18-year-old male students must register for the Selective Service which you can do at www.sss.gov.
